Tim Donohue is lifelong resident of Cape May County. One of seven brothers and sisters, Tim was raised in Stone Harbor, where his father William served as Chief of Police. Tim entered politics in 2010 as a County Committeeman, after working as a volunteer in several local campaigns. Donohue was elected to his first term on Middle Township Committee in 2011. His victory created the first GOP majority in Middle Township in over 70 years. Tim became Mayor in 2014 and was elected to second term on Committee. In 2017 he seeks his third term. Tim continues to fight for Lower taxes, lead on challenging issues and bring good people together to foster positive change.
Donohue also serves as 2nd Vice-Chair of the CapeGOP.
The GOP, “Grand Old Party,” first took roots in 1854 with a small group of dedicated abolitionists gathered to fight against the expansion of slavery and in hopes of starting a Party dedicated to freedom and equal opportunity.
